Both are solid, Prokey definitely supports a ton of altcoins and NFTs. I went with Prokey because it felt a bit more secure for my specific needs, but Trezor is good too.

I have both, honestly, Prokey's interface is a bit more intuitive for me, and it handles most of what I throw at it. For general altcoin storage, it's on par, if not better than Trezor in some aspects.

Nope, you're good as long as you kept your seed phrase safe. Just get a new device and restore using the phrase.

This is why the seed phrase is so important! Get a new one, use your backup phrase, and you'll access everything again. Your crypto isn't 'on' the device.
